Depp should use his millions to end sleazy divorce drama now

She said he’s a paranoid, serial wife-battering lowlife who drunkenly and under the influence of drugs “wound up his arm like a baseball pitcher’’ and flung her iPhone at her face.

He said she’s a bisexual gold-digger who’s inventing phony allegations of abuse in a ploy to sink her greedy paws into his lavish bank account.

That’s right, movie fans. Johnny Depp, 52 (53 on June 9), and Amber Heard, 30, now waging perhaps the tawdriest he-said, she-said divorce battle to hit Hollywood, aren’t so different from the masses.

But they (or at least Depp) have megamoney, fame and everything to lose in a fickle town whose denizens worship scandal and sleaze, but can’t abide career failure. And Depp’s recent string of box-office bombs shouldn’t endear him to Tinseltown types.

It’s hard to know what has happened behind closed doors, as both sides in this depressing marital opera fight, tooth and nail and random body parts, for the public’s sympathy.

But millions of people of all races, genders and net worths at some point accuse intimate partners of crossing a line. More than 10 million people in the United States each year are beaten and bullied, according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Depp, who looks put away wet after years of hard partying, is set to star in his fifth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean’’ movie franchise, to be released next year.

The actor, producer screenwriter, director and musician is counted among the highest-paid thespians in the world.

Heard, openly a sexual switch-hitter, has appeared in “Friday Night Lights’’ and other flicks.

According to court papers, Heard earned $259,876 in 2015. But after paying expenses — including for agent fees, clothes and eating out — she brought home a mere $51,461. Depp earned $30 million between June 2014 and June 2015, Forbes magazine reported. Some estimates peg his net worth at $400 million. That’s a lot of scratch in peril of flowing into the hands of one who hasn’t got much.

The couple’s 15-month marriage whirled into a tsunami after Heard submitted a photograph amid court papers with her eye appearing swollen after last month’s alleged phone-throwing fracas. A Los Angeles judge granted her a temporary restraining order, ordering Depp to stay 100 yards away from the woman who once was the person closest to him on the planet. People magazine has since published photos of Amber’s face bearing bruises she says Depp inflicted on her in December. A close friend of hers told The Post the alleged brute at the time tried to smother her with a pillow, ripped out a chunk of her hair and made her fear for her life. Depp denies ever manhandling her.

Take that, Amber!

Depp’s pal, comic Doug Stanhope, 49, penned a guest column for The Wrap headlined“Johnny Depp is Being Blackmailed by Amber Heard — Here’s How I Know,’’ writing on the Web site that she’s a liar and “a manipulative a-hole.’’

Take that, Johnny!

The Daily Mail reports that a boozed-up Depp got into a 2:30 a.m. altercation Wednesday with one of his own bodyguards after playing a gig in Denmark with his band, Hollywood Vampires. The guard tried to persuade him to leave the concert after-party and return to his hotel, but Depp refused and glared at him, preferring to chug champagne and smoke, said witnesses (cigarettes?), and hang ’til all hours with a woman the newspaper dubbed a “mystery blonde.’’

If Johnny Depp is smart, and that’s debatable, he’ll call an end to the divorce war and pay off Amber Heard generously. A man who displays so little self-control will have a helluva time explaining away a lady’s welts.
